About Me
Hi there, it's good to meet you! I am a DONA trained birth doula and have also been working to help people through injuries and chronic pain as a deep tissue massage therapist for over 14 years now. I gained a passion for birth while making birth plans, and creating roles for my own birth team during the birthing chapter of my life with my four cherubs. I was able to birth in various settings.
I believe a woman should strive to have the birth experience she desires. I believe in a well thought out birth plan and in a unified birth team. Though things don't always go just as planned, having one is very empowering. I also have really appreciated the births I have been in where the partner is a strong presence during the birth. The power of a unified couple is not to be diminished. If you choose me to assist your birth, I will be there to help educate, empower, advocate and help you and your partner have an unforgettable bonding experience with each other and your baby. Whether you have a desire to give birth at home, at a birth center, in a hospital--with an epidural or hoping to go med free—, I will support you in your goals.
My introduction to massage therapy came from a reflexology book I had when I was ten years old, and I would use it to give my mom foot rubs.
I grew up with confidence that I could help people I love feel better and my little hands and fingers seemed to know just where to go and just how deep to be.

When I got to high school, all of my friends would clamber to be the one who stood in front of me during our choir warm-ups where we did a long train of shoulder rubs. I was growing a deep love for this and had a desire to do it after high school. I always wanted to get my bachelors degree, so I decided to do that first and then I went and did my massage training once I graduated with with a bachelors of science degree at BYU.
For the past 12 years, I have been richly blessed by trusting clients who allow me to rely on my intuition and skills to help improve their quality of life.
